MRI cervical spine w/o contrast
There is reversed cervical lordosis which may represent spasm.
There are normal vertebral bodies with normal marrow.
The craniocervical junction is unremarkable
C2-3 disk is unremarkable. AP canal measures 1.33 cm. No foraminal encroachment.
C3-4 disk is desiccated. AP canal measures 1.34 cm. There is moderate left C3-4 foraminal narrowing.
C4-5 disk is desiccated with a small posterior annular bulge. AP canal measures 1.14 cm. There is severe right foraminal narrowing.
C5-6 disk is narrowed, desiccated and demonstrates a 2.4 mm posterior annular bulge. AP canal stenosis measures 9 mm. There is severe bilateral foraminal narrowing.
C6-7 disk is unremarkable. AP canal measures 1.14 cm. No foraminal encroachment
C7-T1 disk is unremarkable . AP canal measures 1.34 cm. No foraminal encroachment
The cervical cord demonstrates normal caliber and signal.
Impression:
1. There is reversed cervical lordosis which may represent spasm.
2.C3-4 disk demonstrates moderate left C3-4 foraminal narrowing.
3. C5-6 disk demonstrates a small posterior annular bulge with severe right foraminal narrowing.
4.C5-6 disk demonstrates a 2.4 mm posterior annular bulge with AP canal stenosis measuring 9 mm and with severe bilateral foraminal narrowing.
